What is your favorite quote or life philosophy?
“All that you touch, you change. All that you change, changes you. The only lasting truth is change.” – Octavia Butler
What advice would you give to someone who is new to the financial services industry?
Embrace the experience. A lot of times, we go into an opportunity with an expectation that shapes our perspective of what we think it should be and, many times, reality is far different because firms are constantly evolving. Focus your expectation on the outcome of the opportunity instead of the opportunity itself. That mindset will help you navigate your career, as it is based on what you plan to get out of it, as well as what you plan to contribute to it.
