My group develops and provides specialized resources for ultra-high net worth clients that address complex, multigenerational wealth management issues. I am involved with the administration of an internal designation training program for Financial Advisors, as well content development and creation for training Financial Advisors, Managers and clients.
Why do you like working in the financial services industry?
The Financial Services industry is multi-faceted. It’s not just banking or investments; it could also be Design and Marketing or Education. Because of that, there are a number of opportunities in this industry that are available to anyone with any background.

What advice would you give to someone who is new to the financial services industry?
Embrace the experience. A lot of times, we go into an opportunity with an expectation that shapes our perspective of what we think it should be and, many times, reality is far different because firms are constantly evolving. Focus your expectation on the outcome of the opportunity instead of the opportunity itself. That mindset will help you navigate your career, as it is based on what you plan to get out of it, as well as what you plan to contribute to it.
