The Financial Services Pipeline (FSP) Initiative’s Annual Summit, hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, will take place on October 16. The Summit is part of the collaborative effort to increase the representation of Latinos and African-Americans, at all levels, within the Chicago-area financial services industry and increase cultural competency within the sector. CEO’s, Directors, and Executive leaders within the Financial Services industry will gather virtually to discuss how to move from ideas to actions.
This year’s theme, “Advancing Equity: From Ideas to Actions,” will feature breaking data and research, professionals leading impactful strides within the DEI space, and best practices from financial professionals in the inclusion and equity space.
The Annual Summit goals are:
- To provide a space for industry leaders to brainstormed ideas for collective action, adding to the work from FSP working groups, research and important initiative focus
- Share best practices and lessons learned from firms in the industry
The last Annual Summit occurred in 2018. The theme, “Cultural Mind Shifting,” focused on discussions about the “future of work” in
Financial Services and the attitudes and perceptions that influence diversity and inclusion efforts.
